I love you

I love you

A Poem by Alexander Loux
"

not of me if thats what you are thinking

"
I love you my beloved
With your hair of rotting seaweed
Your skin is marred and charred like
The thorns of a petal less rose.

How I adore thee my darling
With your feet of rotting flesh
Your nails, the colour of urine
And your teeth of broken mountains.

Your eyes are pools of blood
Long  past needing to be cleaned
And your lips are two dark lines
Both lacking their sheen.

I do love you my sweetling
For your heart is true and blue
But I prefer the corpse
For she's less fare than you.

I love it! it states once more that beauty is only skin deep (or thats how I interpreted it,) and what's on the inside is what matters the most.
