Childhood versian 1A Poem by Alexander LouxA poem of childhood using long lines.
Running away from those whose words cut like sharpened steel
I went to a library to halls of flying dragons, fairies, and gryphons Beginning a new life through words of my flying imagination I slew monsters, flew from cliffs, found treasure, and swam oceans Till the bullies came and washed away my love with words of hurt I return to my life, longing for my books of freedom again. © 2011 Alexander Loux |
