A Poem by Tenebrousoul

Hold it back, stop the flood,
Don't you dare let her see
This weakness, this sadness
this brokenness; me
Let it go,
Let it pass,
Your broken heart,
your shattered past.
Vulnerable,
Embrace her,
This vision come true...
Hold her now
Kiss her now.
You won't always be blue.
Don't show her this nothingness,
That you keep inside,
Don't show your fear,
Don't show your pride.
Committedly noncommittal
Hold the fort down.
Hopefully this time,
You won't let her drown.

Wonderful piece. The simplicity of your structure is sometimes the best part about it.
