Sinful Abyss

As I walk down the shaded road of the abyss,
The cold wind blows,
Into another place I can not see,
From the memory of what I use to be.

Shadows move across the floor,
Chasing a light that goes dark,
Alone I walk this path of mine
Redemption be my only sin

Love my only crime

Driven by just a simple need,
The time of my life came close to an end,
I look back down the road to see,
If perhaps you might be following me.

I'm alone & cold.

The betrayal of that which was unseen,
Called out from the night to me,
What I loved was just a dream.
That I gave my life to bring into being.

Now I look back into the abyss,
To see my life flashing the sin,
what I did will never be forgiven,
I loved you so much
I betrayed all I have given.

I created a love out of lies,
Even Redemption I was denied,
Now I walk the abyss of loneliness,
Forced to always relive my sin.
