Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Starwolf
"

The VERY FIRST POEM I ever wrote! For an English assignment that got me semi-interested in Poetry.

"
I’m alone no one here to help me.
I can’t stand it the solitude all around me.
The burden to go on alone,

in a world where loneliness is death in life.
Yet I push on hoping, searching, wishing for someone to love,
To break this cursed solitude that is tied to me eternally.

When time comes I will die……alone?
For now I am alone and will be cursed for solitude.
You see me and I am here yet you pay me no knowledge
I scream, you know it not, I cry you see it not.

Here I stand with you yet I am alone even among friends.
For I am trapped and will never be free.
For To be trapped in a world of darkness,
to face it all on one’s own is far worse then any.

For solitude is far worse then death,
because to die is to be free.
although I am alone, in death I am joined by all and among all.
