Insanity's Fall

Insanity's Fall

A Poem by Starwolf
"

Older poem, what happens when you lose the one you hold closest to you, the source of your own stability.

"
Slowly shadows fall around my eye’s
Watching you run as my light takes flight,
Dark Insanity begin to take my mind,
While Slowly I lose all I know inside.

The disillusion of my mind falling,
Into the abyss I go never calling,
Calling to you from the darkness I live,
My mind gone forever no heart to give.

Sleep brings no release for dreams,
My soul darkened as you left the scene,
Blaming you for the madness I hold,
You left my world in eternal cold.

Now I live on empty inside,
In a crimson pool I begin to cry,
You left me in this world to die,
So this whole world is a deceivers lie.

Was anything real? …… Did I really matter in your eye’s?
