Moonnight

Moonnight

A Poem by Starwolf
"

Older poem from Nov. 2005

"
Some feel safe in darkness cold embrace,
While other fear night and follow the light.
Why must I fear what I cannot see?
These questions will they ever let me be?

Shadows follow close behind,
Leading, chasing, and biting at my feet,
As the moon rise above me casting out a sign,
For here in the darkness of night,
out in the bright moonlight,
we will finally meet.

You image appears here,
Out of the mist I fear,
Coming slowly towards me,
Out of the moonlit shadows,

Cast out by daytime fellows,
In to darkness she will follow,
Do not fear me my lady
For im here to ask “Are you ready?”
Welcome to my life, be embraced by the Moonnight
