Tempted episode 23

Episode info: Claire is scared of losing James. James is rushed to the hospital. Michelle yells at Claire about accidently shooting James. James asks Claire to marry him

Tempted episode 23 
At the barn 
Ethan picks up a shovel and he smacks Liam in the back. 
Liam's gun goes off. 
Todd and Liam are fighting Liam is trying to shoot Todd. Todd gets the gun Liam and Todd are fighting over it. 
Claire finds a gun on the floor she picks it up and she aims it She is shaking and she is scared She pulls the trigger. The shot hits Liam in the back He falls. 
Claire looks over at James. 
James feels a pain go through his chest. 
James has his hand on his chest. He looks at his hand and he sees blood on it. He gives Claire a shocked look. Claire watches as James is slowly collaspsing infront of her. 
Claire: Oh, No No No James. 
James collaspes to the floor of the barn. 
Claire: NOOOOOO. 
Claire rushes over to James. 
Claire: James no. 
James: C l a i r e . 
James shuts his eyes. 
Claire: James, James. 
 She touches his face with her hands. 
Todd: Ashley are you ok over there did you get shot? 
Ashley: I'm fine bro. There was another shot. 
Claire is crying and she is getting James's blood all over her hands. 
Claire: Brother help. JAMES NO, 
Todd rushes over to Claire and James. 
Claire: No I shot him, I just shot him. 
Todd: shh Claire it's ok I'm going to try to stop the bleeding from  his wound. 
Claire: You're gonna be okay, James. You have to, okay? You can't die. 
Todd takes his jacket off and he holds it on James's bullet wound to stop the bleeding. 
Claire: is he dead? 
Todd keeps pushing on the wound to stop the blood. 
Claire: is he dead? Brother 
Todd: No, he has a pulse but he's lost alot of blood We need to get him to the hospital. 
Ashley: i'll call 911 
Todd: forget 911 
Claire: James you can't die. 
Todd: 911 will take too long we have to take him to the hospital ourselves. Help me up with him. 
Claire: James I love you. Be careful with him he's in pain. 
Todd and Ethan lift James up. 
Todd carries James in his arms. He carries him to the SUV. 
Todd lays James down in the back seat. 
Claire gets in the back She is crying. She lays James across her lap 
she lays his head on her lap. 
Claire: James I'm so sorry.

At kelly's apartment 
Kelly and Ian wake up next to eachother. 
Kelly: Ian what happend last night? 
Ian: we had sex. 
Kelly: we slept together? 
Ian: yes we did. 
Kelly: I like you alot. 
Ian: I like you too. 
Kelly kisses Ian on the lips. 
Ian: Jessica doesn't love me anymore. She broke my heart. 
Kelly: aww Ian I'm sorry. 
Ian: it doesn't matter anymore. I got you. 
Kelly: I'm glad that I have you I was lonely. 
Ian: do you want to marry me? 
Kelly: yes I do

At Riley's apartment 
Riley: Michelle did you have fun last night? 
Michelle: yes I did Riley. 
Riley kisses Michelle on the lips. 
Michelle: I have to go I'll see you later Riley. 
Riley: bye Michelle I love you.

Riley and Michelle kiss. 
Michelle leaves Riley's apartment.

At the hospital 
Jessica: hello I'm not feeling well I've Been getting these headaches. 
Greg: let me check you out ok I'll find out what's wrong. 
Jessica: thanks Greg 
Greg takes Jessica into a room. 
Greg: I got your test results back. Jessica I'm sorry but you have  Brain cancer which stands for a Brain tumor. 
Jessica: am I dying? 
Greg: yes you are I'm so sorry. 
Jessica begins to cry.

At the hospital 
Todd rushes James into the hospital. 
Claire: be careful of his legs pick his legs up. 
James is still bleeding from the wound in his chest. 
Doctor: what happend here? 
Claire: his name is James Ford. He got shot 
Todd: he got shot in the gut he's lost alot of blood. 
Claire: James please make it. I love you. 
Doctor: operating room 2 is open. I'm taking him there 
Claire: James please don't die. 
The doctor rushes James into surgry. 
Claire is crying. 
She falls onto her knees of the floor of the hospital  Ashley goes over to Claire she hugs Claire. 
Ashley: claire he's going to be ok I promise you He wouldn't want to leave you I saw how he looked at you in the barn before that fight broke out. 
Claire: Ashley if I lose James I don't know what I'll do. 
Ashley: Claire it was a accident you didn't mean to shoot him. 
Claire: he could die because of me. I'm calling Riley he needs to know what happend to his brother. 
Ethan walks over to Ashley and Claire. 
Ethan: how's James? 
Claire gets up and she gets in his face 
Claire: you did this You stole the money he needed. None of this would have happend if you didn't steal the money that belonged to James How could you be so stupid? What you didn't think anybody would care? 
Ethan: Claire I'm sorry. 
Claire: I know that I'm the one who shot him But at least I didn't take his money he might die because of you. 
Ethan; Claire I was only trying to help. 
Claire: well guess what Do you see anybody helping me right now? I'm worried that James won't make it. I love him and if he dies.. Oh what have I done. 
Todd walks over to Claire. 
Claire keeps crying. 
Todd: Claire it's not your fault. 
Claire: James could die because of me I put that bullet in him It's my  fault. 
Todd: No It wasn't. James was in the way he was trying to protect you  I saw what he was trying to do. 
Claire looks at the bracelet that James gave her She is crying. 
Todd: what's that on your wrist? 
Claire: James gave it to me. 
Todd: it's beautiful. 
Claire: this will be all that I have left of him if he dies. 
Todd: he's going to be ok. We have the best doctors in this hospital. They will help James I promise you Claire. 
Claire: I'm so scared for him. 
Todd hugs Claire as she is crying.

At Jessica's apartment 
Jessica walks into her apartment and she is crying. 
Jim hears her crying. 
Jim: Jess honey are you ok why are you crying? 
Jessica: I went to the doctor and I found out that I have a Brain tumor. 
Jim: Oh my god sweetheart. 
Jessica: the doctor said that I'm going to die. 
Jim: sweetheart i'm so sorry. 
Jessica is sobbing in Jim's arms. 
Jim: I'm going to take care of you.  Jessica: I know you will honey. I'm going to see Ian He needs to know 
about this We agreed to be friends.

At the hospital 
Claire calls Riley. 
Riley: hello? 
Claire: Riley you need to come to the hospital. 
Riley: why what happend Claire? 
Claire: your brother James He got shot. 
Riley: I'll be there ok don't worry. 
Claire cries. 
Riley: claire calm down I'll be there don't worry. 
Claire: he's in surgry he might die Riley. 
Riley: when I get to the hospital you can tell me what happend ok. 
Claire: Ok I'll see you soon Riley. 
Riley arrives at the hospital. 
Claire is sitting in a chair and she's crying and shaking She keeps crying. Riley goes over to her and he sits next to her. 
Riley: Claire tell me what happend. 
Claire looks at Riley she has tears coming down her cheeks.
Claire: I shot your brother it was a accident. 
Riley: YOU SHOT HIM. 
Claire: Riley I'm so sorry It was a accident I didn't mean to shoot him. 
Riley: HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO MY BROTHER HE COULD DIE. 
Claire: I didn't mean to. He was in the way he was trying to protect me he didn't know what was going to happen. He thought Liam was going to shoot me and Liam was going to kill Todd so I fired the gun and James got hit.

At Ian's apartment 
Jessica knocks on the door. 
Ian opens the door. 
Jessica: Ian I need to tell you something. 
Ian: what is it Jessica what's wrong? 
Jessica: I went to the doctor and I'm sick I have a brain tumor. 
Ian: oh my god Jess. 
Jessica: I'm dying Ian. 
Jessica begins to cry. 
Ian hugs Jessica as she is crying. 
Jessica: Ian I can't die I have a son to take care of. 
Ian: he has his father he can take care of him. 
Jessica: I shouldn't have came over here You hate me because I moved  on with Jim. I love Jim he's everything to me and I'm glad that I met him. He made me feel better about your death. He was there for me. Do you have any idea how he felt when I told him that I have a brain tumor? He was crying and he was hugging me. He is really upset that I could die. 
Ian: I'm sorry Jessica. 
Jessica: I may never get to see my son ever again because I'm dying.

At the hospital 
Claire: what is taking so long? 
A nurse comes up to Claire. 
Claire: Hows James doing is he going to be ok? 
Nurse: I don't know. 
A doctor comes out. 
Claire: is James ok is he going to make it? 
Doctor: I don't know. 
Todd: is that all you got? You better save him damn it she loves him. 
Doctor: the bullet he took pierced his chest. The bullet caused Alot  of damage to his chest. He's internally bleeding inside of him He's still not waking up But we want to get him stablized before we operate on him. 
Claire: can I see him please I need to see him. 
Claire is crying she keeps crying. 
Doctor: go on in you can see him Maybe you could try to get him to 
Wake up. 
Claire walks into the operating room. 
She sees James laying on the strecher with his eyes shut 
Claire cries on him.  Moniter. 
Claire: Hey. James, it's Claire I don't know if you can hear me. The doctors say that you're going to need surgery because you're bleeding inside somewhere and they don't know how to stop it. I guess that bullet that I put in you, it's caused a lot of damage. But before they operate, you need to stabilize. Stabilize. You're like the most 
unstable guy that I've ever met. You're like a tornado. You come in to town, sweep up everything in your path, but I know that You were just trying to get away. I know that. God, I never meant to hurt you. I just was so afraid that Liam was going to shoot Todd. I never meant to hit you, and if you die... my God, if you don't pull through... [Crying] 
James wakes up. 
James: are there onions in this room. Cause there is no way that you could be crying over me. 
Claire: James. 
James: I love you Claire you didn't mean to shoot me. It was a accident. 
Claire: James will you make me a promise? 
James: sure twinkle. 
Claire: will you promise me to make it out of surgry? 
James: I promise. 
Claire kisses James on the lips. 
 The doctor comes in. 
Doctor: nice of you to finally join us mr. ford.  Let's get you into surgry. 
Claire: James promise me. 
James: I will come back to you. I promise you that I won't Leave you I  won't die. 
The doctor wheels James away.

At michelle's house. 
Michelle calls Riley. 
Riley: hello? 
Michelle: Riley where are you? 
Riley: I'm at the hospital. 
Michelle: Oh my god Riley are you ok?
Riley: yes I'm fine It's not about me. 
Michelle: then what is it about? 
Riley: my brother James was shot He might die. 
Michelle: Oh my god Riley I'm so sorry. Do you want me to come to the  hospital? 
Riley: sure. 
Michelle: i'll be right over. 
Riley: thanks Michelle I love you. 
Michelle: I love you too. 
Michelle hangs up her cellphone.

At Ian's apartment 
Ian: is there anything I can do to help you? 
Jessica: No there isn't anything you can do. 
Ian: Jessica you should go home and rest. 
Jessica: Claire has to know about this. 
Ian: you should tell her. Maybe she can try to help you. 
Jessica: I think I will tell her. She's my best friend and she needs to know that there is something wrong with me. 
Ian: Jessica there is something I need to tell you. 
Jessica: what? 
Ian: I slept with your cousin Kelly last night. 
Jessica slaps Ian across the face. 
She walks out the door of his apartment.

At the hospital 
Claire is still crying she is worrying about James in surgry. 
Riley comes up to her. 
Claire runs away from Riley. 
Riley grabs claire's arm gently. 
Claire looks at Riley. 
Riley: Claire come here. 
Claire: Riley what do you want? Are you going to yell at me again and  blame me for accidently shooting your brother? 
Riley: No I'm not going to yell at you again I'm sorry I didn't mean  to go off on you. 
Claire: it's ok I understand. I deserved it. 
Riley: No you didn't. 
Claire: Riley I'm so scared that James will die. 
Riley: he's not going to die He's strong. 
Claire: do you know what he calls me?
Riley: what does he call you? 
Claire: he calls me twinkle. 
Claire begins to cry she keeps crying. 
Riley: he's going to make it I promise. 
Claire: Riley I wish none of this happend. 
Riley: I know. It's not your fault I didn't mean to yell at you. Todd told me that you were trying to stop Liam from killing him and James and ethan You didn't know that James was in the way. 
Claire: when I looked over at James I saw blood coming from his chest I saw his expression on his face He was shocked and scared I yelled Nooo when he collasped. 
Riley: Claire you didn't mean this. 
Claire: your brother is in that operating room with a bullet in his  chest He might die and all I can think about is that I was the one who shot him. 
Riley: did he wake up when you went to see him before he was rushed  into surgy? 
Claire: yes I did He woke up because I was crying on him Do you know what he said to me? 
Riley: no what did he say? 
Claire: he said are there onions in this room cause there is no way  that you could be crying over me. 
Riley: aww you see he doesn't want you to cry over him. He wants you  to be strong for him. 
Claire: I made him make a promise to me. 
Riley: what kind of promise? 
Claire: I made him promise to make it. 
Riley: aww you really do care about him. 
Claire: I love you brother very much.

At Jessica's apartment 
Jessica: hey honey. 
Jim: hey are you ok? 
Jessica: Jim I'm scared I don't want to have a brain tumor I'm too young. 
Jim: Jess I will do all that I can to help you. 
Jessica: I have to tell Claire. 
Jim: you should tell her she does need to know. 
Jessica: I'll tell her tomorrow. I'm going to go hold our son. 
Jim: I'm coming upstairs with you. 
Jim and Jessica go upstairs. 
Jessica holds her son Jason. 
Jason is asleep in his mom's arms.

At the hospital 
Michelle arrives. 
Riley: hey Michelle this is Claire. 
Claire: nice to meet you Michelle. 
Michelle: nice to meet you too Claire. Riley how's your brother? 
Riley: he's in surgry He's going to be ok. 
Michelle: who shot him? 
Claire: I did but it was a accident. 
Michelle: how could you do this? That is Riley's brother and you shot him. He could die all because of you. If he dies I'll come after you. 
Riley: don't you dare threaten Claire She's right it was a accident I'll tell you what happend. 
Michelle: well what happend? 
Riley: there was a huge fight at the barn. This Liam guy tried to shoot Claire's friend Todd and Ashley's boyfriend Ethan. Ethan found a shovel and he smacked Liam in the back with 
it The gun went off. He tried to shoot Todd. Claire found a gun and  she was shaking and freaking out and she was so scared. She pulled the  trigger She killed Liam. James was hit Claire looked at him to see if he was ok. She saw his blood and she realized that he was shot He collasped. 
Michelle: Claire I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you. 
Claire: it's ok Michelle. 
The doctor comes out. 
Claire: did he make it? 
Doctor: yes he did. The surgry was a success. He wants to see you he has something special for you. 
Claire goes into James's hospital room. 
James is laying in the bed. 
Claire: hey James you made it. 
James: I couldn't leave you I couldn't die. 
Claire: I love you so much James I'm sorry that I shot you it was a  accident. 
James: no Claire It's my fault I was in the way. 
Claire: you were just trying to protect me you didn't know If anything bad was going to happen. 
James: I know. 
Claire: I'm so glad that your ok. 
James: I know you are. I have something to give you. 
Claire: what is it sweetheart? 
James takes out a black ring box. 
Claire looks at the box. 
James opens the box. 
Claire smiles at James.  
James: Claire will you marry me?  Claire: yes I will marry you James I love you. 
James slips the diamond engagement ring onto Claire's finger. 
James kisses Claire on the lips. 
James: twinkle I love you. 
Claire: I love you too. 
James: do you want to lay in the bed with me? 
Claire: sure. 
 Claire carefully gets into the hospital bed with James. 
James smiles at Claire. 
Claire carefully pulls him close to her and they fall asleep in the bed. 
Claire wraps her arms around James as they are sleeping.
