a conversation with my mind

a conversation with my mind

A Poem by Sophles

You seized me with remorse
gave me a sense of guilt
make me say the wrong words
make me do the wrong things

crazy thoughts of benevolent intentions
a want of self-satisfaction
committing deeds beyond description
but your really just dead calmness of inaction

nothing is your painful than the human mind
depression, repression,projection and angst
a need to be perfect and live out the dream

laughable to say the least

you gave me a certainty
no, a promise of new hope
but as quickly as you gave it
you hurried me back to hell
