I close my eyes and see you standing next to me

The perfect love the perfect life

Forever the perfect family

You who could take me away

Where I could escape from the reality of my parents

I made a bet and lost

Was it I bet God I bet against?

 Life? Love?

Although I lost love

 I gained the seed of that love

What once was and will never be again my heart cries out at what was lost

Not the lose of my soul mate but the lose of the precious seed of that love

No matter how fleeting that love was

Now I am surrounded by the darkness

 A warm embrace of madness and despair that has become my reality
