Shame In Waiting

Shame In Waiting

A Poem by Melinda
"

They say you can lead, follow, or get out of the way - but what do car commercials know about real life?

"
 don’t know

I never had much use for

Fairytales.

Want a little bit more

Than what is

Possible?

Then you’re always bound

To fail.

You count on miracles

To get what you want?

You won’t get too far

Or any better place

Than where you are.

Standing still

While the world spins

Until you land where you want;

You know it’s a sin.

Luck runs out,

Time runs out

And you can’t pass “Go”

Again.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
