Wallflower

Wallflower

A Poem by Melinda

I rose from my seat
To get some air
and find some quiet space.
I didn't think I'd be missed-
Someone would surely take my place.
From outside looking in
Through a window, amused,
I watch them stop and wonder
because
They never saw me,
but now they plainly see
The space where I was.

this has a beauy in it and you've aptured it, although it is hard for me to say exactly what it is, as it's hidden almost, in amongst the cryptic, shadowed nature of this. one thing that stood out for me was that the word rose was in the first line and the oems title mirrored it.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
