The Walk

The Walk

A Poem by Melinda

Come and take a walk with me
Amble humbly down mainstreet
All the while mumbling
about everything we see-
Hand in hand, or hands in pockets
doesnt matter because, you see,
I'd be there, and you with me.
Eyes to the horizon,
Smiling, watching the street
Pass beneath our feet,
Then look up, laughing awkwardly
As our eyes meet.
Everyone else would disappear
Because we wouldn't care-
Just the two of us there,
Two souls together,
Happily going nowhere..

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
