When she came back...

She asked "Did you miss me?"
Seems as though she couldn't see
I thought of her with every breath
And every heartbeat in my chest

She asked "Did you miss me?"
Seems as though she couldn't see
Without her at night I couldn't sleep
Not a day went by, I didn't weep

She asked "Did you miss me?"
Seems as though she couldn't see
I died with every step she walked away
I only hope that she's back to stay

She asked "Did you miss me?"
Seems as though she couldn't see
But when she reads this she'll soon see
The answer to her "Did you miss me?"
