I Am Not Unique.

Free Verse. Was sitting in class and BOOM.

I am not unique.

What I do has been done before,

What I say has been heard before, and

What I have has been had before. 

I realize that I am not unique.

As a being, I may be unique, but 

As a person I am not.

I already know that I am not, 

Nor will I ever be a human phenomenon.

I am no Picasso, nor am I Caesar.

But what I am is myself, and, 

Despite the fact that I am not unique,

I like being me.
