How to Make Your Own Project/ProgramA Chapter by Teh_Az
How to Make Your Own Project!
The word project is a derogatory word. It implies being something other than what is human, other than what is perfect. Most would argue that to be a project would actually be a step up the evolutionary ladder, but that is socially an unacceptable idea. Projects are always seen as nothing more than manmade humans. Since they are manmade, it must then follow that they are not human after all. Thus, they are called projects, science projects. There are many kinds of projects. All of which incur the same kind of animosity that the rest of the world holds against them. However, there is one other kind of project that isn’t seen as manmade but rather nothing more than human modification. These are called programs and they are still considered to be human. The difference between programs and projects is that one becomes a program, whereas to be a project one has to be born project. To create your own project or programs, here are a few simple steps. Step One: WHO ARE YOU! Project/Program Codename: [This is the codename the project was given] Project/Program Designation: [This is the designated code it was given that is officially used on paperwork and direct order from high command.] Date of Development: [This is when it officially began development] Place of Development: [This is where it officially began development] Nature of Development: [This is an explanation of why the program or project was developed. Consider this to be the start, an elaboration, of the design concept you would have in your head. Be sure to include here the reasons why the project was started, the obstacles it encountered during its development, and the reasons why it was successfully passed into mass production or was slashed by its sponsoring body. Make sure that whatever it is you place here it is reflective of what could be both common legend or something mid level ranking officials of the sponsoring body actually know as truth. Also, do include when and where it officially was judged successful and fit for fielding.] Step Two: WHAT ARE YOU! [Included here are the three aspects of a character. The project or program was meant as an alteration or a modification of these aspects in order to achieve a specific design goal. Please do note that there is no such thing as weakness or strength here. The discussion of weakness and strength is something for strategists to discuss. What should be seen here are the changes that actually occur to a subject that is either born a project or is processed through a program.] Body: [What are the changes that occur to the character’s body? What features are changed or modified? What features are added to the human body? Do these changes include a change in metabolism, basic human capability, on etc?] Mind: [What are the changes that occur to the human mind? Does the project or program bestow psionic capability? Does the project or program include directly incorporating electronic hardware into the brain?] Soul: [What changes occur in the human soul? Is this even possible? If so, why?] Step Three: WHAT OF YOU NOW! [Listed here are the role-playing concerns of actually being a project or a program.] Social: [This is the social aspect of being a project. Included here must be the specific stigma associated with being a program or project. Consider this to be the stereotypical identity of a program or a project as designated by the society the program or project is born into. Consider here an analogy to being a social pariah or icon. Being something immediately incurs that effect of being associated with something else in the eyes of other. Consider this a reflection of labeling.] Psychological: [This is the psychological consequence of being a project or program. It must include everything that has been proven to occur within the mind of a project or program. A real world example would include how soldiers often suffer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after experiencing the horrors of war. This should be analogous to that in purpose and design.] Biological: [What new kinds of diseases and forms of stress is your character now susceptible to? Does the change in body also merit a forced change in attitudes or routines? Does the kind of food being ingested change in taste? Do the senses change?] Spiritual: [What now becomes of you character’s soul after the character has been changed? Will he remain within the belief system before the changes? What happens to his outlook on life?] Samples: [Included here should be samples on how to properly role-play a program or project of this kind. Please place links instead of actual samples.] © 2010 Teh_Az |
