A Poem by Terry Lee

there's always been something
about the cold smell of darkness
that brings me warmth
and peace of mind
though my mind screams
and refuses to go without a fight
your voice is so quiet through my tears
as if you might actually care
but you're not to blame
nor am i to blame for the silence
this silence that bellows in my face
and squeezes my cheeks and laughs
how i hate that
i'm not ticklish, i won't break
so put away your safety scissors
and take a chance
take a chance
take a chance
take a chance
use a gun
an unloaded gun
pull the trigger
just pull it
pull it now
whoops, there's one in the chamber
"click"
Love Is Dead.

About
I'm laid back. I try not to take things too seriously. I enjoy laughter and making people laugh is my favorite thing to do. I believe that's reflected in much of my work :) Laughter makes the world go.. more..
