Another Page... Painted With Happiness

A Poem by tania

26th November 2010

She painted her memories blue
blurring out
fading in every hue.
It blew strong from behind
the wind,
it blew and it carried her
inside a new universe
of landscape green and gold
of innocence
of love ….
the love never felt before.

They walked onto the yellow path
amidst an expanse
a bright red stretch of
blooming roses
and fragrant roses.
Under the setting sun he held her.
Until it appeared,
the starry sky,
they wandered
Till the fire burned
warm and bright
and they sat, huddled
looked upon by unknown faces.

A union that night,
that night and another night
then another,
never forgotten.
He consumed her and
she revitalized
As he began anew and
she sparked
He was hostile yet comforted her
she gave in.
and she hid in his love
while he slept in her tenderness.

Those nights she had felt
his power.
She felt safe.
Finally escaped…..
or so it seemed.

The following days,
Eight,
went by in a daze.
The wind blew hard
pushed her within
their grasp and
she stood amongst the
unknown faces
fragile and unprotected
but they smiled
she came closer and they
…smiled…
and closer until
she was terrified.

The faces turned unkind.

But the daze engulfed her
and he desired her
so she forgot.

Spellbinding, really. Quite brilliantly typifies the strength of desire and love.
