I just read a longer, more serious poem about turning 40, so I was very much poised to find out what romance after 50 is like?!?! Your playful approach is perfect to describe my own experiences. I suppose I've grown WAY too cantankerous for romance at my age (61), perfectly illustrated by your short oppositional couplets!
