Teddybear

Teddybear

A Poem by Teddybearlee

I could be your Teddybear
Just lay your head on my chest, there
Put your arm around me tight
And squeeze with you love, all your might

Tell me your story from start to end
I will listen patiently and without prejudice then
Allow me to brush the hair from your eyes
I'll be here for you when no one else tries

We can hibernate in peace all year round
I'll keep you warm and fix your frown
I may be a little frayed and torn
But all it will take is a hug to be reborn

You can run your hand through my fur
But it will probably tickle for sure
But I think laughter will be our best medicine
I just don't want you to run away again

And leave me sitting alone in a box
Without you it feels like I'm sleeping on rocks
All I do is crave for you to take me away
And snuggle with your Teddybear for another day
