Immeasurable Wealth

I opened my eyes, for the first time, and saw you, I was born
It was a rebirth, of heart and spirit, removed from a time where I was torn
A new life, an undiscovered world, a scintillating sun filled my sight
The journey I desired at soul, the sign I longed for, incandescent light

Ethereal wings, stretched behind you, gently fluttering, only I could see
A glorious halo surrounded your flowing umber hair, almost blinding me
As I gazed, trying not to stare, I could see inside you, a character of compassion
A heart of unimaginable size, capable of such love, an undeniable attraction

All around me, all sound had faded to nothing, blank space in the periphery
Time seemed paused, frozen, as if the universe was showing me some decency
Gravity grabbed me, and from a room away, I felt as if I were already bonded to you
Such majestic radiance, such an unexplainable force, running me continually through

Angel, to this day, the best word I can use to describe the woman of such capacity
Never before and never again, a vision of holy power most will never see
In her imposing presence, I found what I ever longed for in eternity
And blessed I was, a gift, a treasure, a jewel, she held tightly on to me
