Two Sides of the Mirror

Two Sides of the Mirror

A Poem by Teddybearlee

What do you see when you look at me
Strength for the fight I fight
Or weakness for not moving on despite

Do you see a lost cause
Or maybe just a lost soul at sea
I just don't know how else to be

Am I the warrior I believe
Fighting against odds unbeatable
Or do I have a disease untreatable

Do you see a mind delusional
A dependent loser at heart
Or do you believe we had a mutual love from the start

Am I wrong to not understand this
How she could leave someone as rare as I
You see my words, know I can't lie

What do you see when you look at me
