There's Always Tomorrow....I GuessA Poem by Teddybearlee
It's what drives me, what pushes me on
What will another day bring to my plate That's overflowing with emotional agony Will the next day just add weight Curiousity of my future Even though I feel it's set in stone I keep hoping to see the sunshine Without the migraines that come along There's always tomorrow For dreams, wait, that's been said Yet tomorrow never comes And my dreams? Nightmares force fed But still I forge on Waiting for that miracle I'm told about Oh, that miracle? Might not be the one you want, no doubt The nature of my beast I guess keeps me waking up To see if it's tomorrow Or if I'm drinking from the same cup © 2016 Teddybearlee |
