Everlasting Pain

Everlasting Pain

A Poem by Teddybearlee

People claim to still feel the pain of a man who died on a cross
And feel the hurt of ancestors, needlessly, slaughtered for a loss
So what's one lifetime of agony, given up to losing you
Damn right I'll compare the misery, to any massacre that's true

The death of your love will crush my soul till my dying day
The weight of the world, bearing down, as you continue to betray
What I comprehend of this, is I'll never get to rest in peace
And my spirit will reside in fire and flames, once my body is deceased

So don't hate on me, or put me down, if you don't understand
This man right here, would give it all, for love he had in hand
We don't always register, what hurt is like for someone else
But to try is all I ask, and respect me while I walk through hell

What's a century when everyone else will forget
I'll mourn my loss, from every sunset to sunset
It isn't mine it's my hearts decision to accept she is the only one
And my mind goes along, a million reasons, a list, a mile long

A dream come true, actually more than my imagination every believed
An actual angel came and blessed me, my whole being was her deed
Devoted, enchanted, Her spell was forever cast on me
And the loss of her love, left me stranded, in a crimson red sea

I don't need a judgement, the ones to say move on from here
I don't need the pity, but maybe just a shoulder, to forever wipe my tear
This is not a mile to walk, this walk will burn through all your shoes
And when I reach the finish line, I walked it just to lose
