Need

Need

A Poem by Teddybearlee

I don't need you to pay my bills
Cook my food, or give me thrills
I don't need you to live my life
Wake up each day, to tuck me in at night

I lived life before you were here
Unhappily, but still breathing lets be clear
I dressed myself and kept myself clean
And held a job to help achieve my dream

I dont need you to buy me clothes
Or groceries at the store, I can get those
I don't need you, to raise our child
She and I understand each other, her wild style

No one should need another, I agree with the masses
But...I digress, theres still something that feels like lashes
Oh I know, it's my incomplete heart
Please come home, help me pick up the parts :(
