Hypocrite Me

What do you believe in?
Such an intense question
I believe in love and a soul mate
That answer is well intentioned

But what about God?
I take a pause, reflect
I don't know honestly
He's not something I truly detect

But love is? Soul mates?
I have felt it inside
She made me believe
And then it died

But you can't see it!
So I must have had blind faith
In love so why not heaven
I never felt His light, in which to bathe
