Every time, I get a letter from you
A message from, a stranger I knew
Scabs fall off, the blood's anew
Who is this girl, I have no clue

Talk to me, like we have no past
You've dumbed down, why I ask
Were you ashamed at gaining knowledge
Or living better, than in the trash you dredged

It hurts my soul, to see what you chose
Every word from you, results in blows

I can't handle seeing you, or hearing your voice
Just looking at these pictures, I have no choice
Maybe theres better for you, but never for me
I feel I've lived so many lives, yet you are all I see

I should accept the obvious that you're long gone
When you can talk to me and not understand whats wrong
Why I cant see you, face to face
Why I still break down in tears, for days and days

I've lost you, and I feel you've lost you too
Are you running from something, what can I do?
