Pure Beauty

The majestic eagle soaring so high in the sky
The mountain top view, watching the day go by
A polished diamond, glittering flawlessly in the light
The attraction of the stars, on the darkest night

The ocean waves, rolling and crashing ashore
The petals on the roses, I've come to adore
The picture at the gallery, work a million words
All the shades of your beauty, are so absurd

The colors of the sun rising and sun setting
Your beautiful dress, you adorned at our wedding
The moon over head, shining so bright on my face
Being with you, will always be my favorite place

The grazing lionness, watchful eye on her cubs
A romantic story, such words depicting love
A butterfly resting, on a tree in the fall
The excitement of seeing, your name when you call

Flowers in full bloom, when their time has come again
The look you give me, when I tickle you, I grin
Your body, the sacred temple, where I rest my head
Spooning you at night, snuggling in bed

I like the interplay between what beauty and wonder you find in nature and the love that shines through your descriptions of this relationship, as if you're looking at love through nature's eyes. A very sweet, soothing voice comes through the writing, and reminds me of the love I have found and the beauty I have seen.

Thank you very much for this review Ms. Rose, it oddly came out sort of naturally, I wanted to put "our" love in comparison with the most beautiful things in the world, and all that came to mind were objects/creatures of nature. I guess that says a couple things, I found a love that just seemed natural, just came together as if it should have been all this time, and very few man made things can compete with what we find naturally upon our earth when it comes to beauty. One buried in the dark can still imagine and see such beauty in the world, and even appreciate it.

Thank you Tessa, every once in a while I try to express the beauty of life, it's rare anymore that I truly cherish it because of the dark place I'm in, but there was a time, when life was like this, and I'll never forget it
