"You'll live", "Life goes on" they tell you
I laugh inside, at the joke of what's true
We all don't wake up and find someone new
Some of us get stuck in our sorrow, it was overdue

It's either embedded in you or it's not
A deeper love for which you fought
An oceans floor down, we searched and we found
We can't help the feelings, we gave unbound

So if it goes on, it goes on as this
All hollow yet heavy, with a swollen fist
Is this what you mean when theres always tomorrow
I want to let go, have some forget potion to borrow?

This is no way to live in this world
The knots in our bodies, continue to twirl
Time, what is time, compared to everlasting
In the fires of our hell, for a breath, we are asking
