Drop

Drop

A Poem by Teddybearlee

Time, has gone from a drip to a pour
Life, went from pain to losing allure
Love, feels more like a disease than magic
Souls, mere fairy tales in time so tragic

Such is the weight of loyalty
When crushed beneath the weight of eternity
And your truth is shattered infinitely
There's nothing left to see, for me to believe

All that's left is the end
Nothing else I want to begin
All that's left is the end
  My heart won't revive, again

Trudging through the dreary days of my life
Wearing a smile, hiding my strife
So hollow, so weary, more dead than alive
This blood stopped pumping, taking a dive

All that's left is the end
Nothing else I want to begin
All that's left is the end
  My heart won't revive, again
