All You Know

All You Know

A Poem by Teddybearlee
"

A touch of arrogance on my behalf, due to hurt of course..but brutally honest no sugar coating...

"
When we met, let's be real
Your situation was never ideal
The fast track to that local lifestyle
But I saw something in you worthwhile

I know I'm no genius or millionaire
But I've worked real hard now let's be fair
I chased dreams and I had common sense
And I know a little more than you'll ever admit

All you know, All you know
   You are welcome
All you've seen, All you've seen
   So much you've forgotten

I don't consider this to be a pat on the back
But I helped you grow and shared anything you lacked
My knowledge, my money, my right from wrong
Our travels, our feelings, what you know about songs

I truly hate to sound ignorant but where would you be
I'd still be here living semi-successfully
I'm not going to predict how you would've turned out
I know what you were in to, your friends, and where are they now?

All you know, All you know
   You are welcome
All you've seen, All you've seen
   So much you've forgotten
