Dearly Beloved

Dearly Beloved

A Poem by Teddybearlee

I see all of you so clearly
And your worry gets through my shell
I can't express how much it means
Having you with me in this hell

Even though you can't feel my feelings
You've stood by me every step
Even though you know there's no healing
You've followed me, to this depth

I thank you with what's left of me
  Thank you, thank you
Please don't take my ignorance personally
  Thank you, thank you
May the sun always shine on you

I use to be the one with the strength
To carry my friends back from the brink
Even though I've always toed the line distinct
I feel soul first and continue to sink

I still see you on the line hands out
Throwing me a life jacket of hope
I know on the other side it's so clear
But on my side, all I see is rope

I thank you with what's left of me
  Thank you, thank you
Please don't take my ignorance personally
  Thank you, thank you
May the sun always shine on you
