Just Let The Tears Fall

Just Let The Tears Fall

A Poem by Philosophical Footsteps

She'll just let the tears fall
As her eyes close & she looses sight of it all
She'll quiver in pain
As she sits, consumed by the silence, altogether with her pain
She'll scream at the world
Questioning the rejection of her name
She'll bow her head because she's ashamed
They say she's changed, but her past made her this way
She'll just let the tears fall
What will she do?
She can no longer call upon you...
That's how they take advantage
Instead she'll try to mend her heart,
Pain restricted by a bandage
And when all else fails
She'll just sit & let the tears fall
Nothing she can do, ahh she's helpless
She'll just hide her shame
As they beg her to confess

A lovely sensitive piece. I could feel all the emotions right through. Your words created a vivid portrait. I really liked this poem. Thanks.
