Fake Reflection

Fake Reflection

A Poem by CrimsonDecorum

The tears that cascade down the lined pages.

From the blade draws my fearful wages.

The pain cuts deeper, than I ever could.

So stop telling me to quit like I really should.

~

My empty smile that everyone sees through,

should be a reflection of what I'm about to do.

I'm just not good enough. Don't you think I know?

But you don't get it! That's why I let the blood flow.

~

The scars hide hunder my shirt, and I hope they'll fade.

No one really needs to know about my facade.

It's as bad as the pills and puking in the bowl.

But I sit here, wanting to be whole.

~

Burn away the selfishness, and help me fix the seems.

And mind your own bisiness. While imperfection blurrs my dreams.

Watch me continue the scars I try to hide.

But I can't deny: I'm so broken on the inside.

Author's Note

CrimsonDecorum
Wrote this yesterday but was too lazy to post.

Yeah, this has a similar message from the last one, but the one that I might post later will have a different theme. Ooh, look at me getting all various.

The truth is: I'm scared. Scared of life, scared of trusting, and scared that the only person that I do trust might not be there for me. Why can't life be easy?

Sorry for any spelling/grammar errors in this one. Thanks :)
