Rag Doll

Rag Doll

A Poem by Kayla

She makes her way

Across the feild

Holding herslef just right

So that perhaps,

They won't realize she's broken

But her ragdoll arms

Cannot be stitched on again

Her tangled and matted hair

Dirty with misuse

Her eyes dull

With the years they've been worn

She's like Cinderella

Except without the prince

And only the missing shoe

She holds herself up straight

Her head held high

And confident

Not realizing that her hurt

Seeps through to the outside

But she is determined

And her smile shows the truth

I write a lot of poetry. Most of it is really serious, and negative. But I'm actually a really happy and fun person:) I write fanfiction whenever I see a movie, or read a book that doesn't explain a l.. more..
