Death

Death

A Poem by Kayla
"

A story about (you guessed it) death.

"

kidnapped by my soul

And turned inside out

Then swallowed whole

Eaten alive

By my own fear

But I must bear

The fact that I'm here

The air is thinning

The ground is shaking

Held by the fact that I can't move

I stand still

And hold my breath

I can feel my head throbbing

Hear the ringing in my ears

I need air

I swallow deep

But I still can't breathe

I look around, but all I can see

is a black hole

It is sucking me in

Until I see the light

I move towards it

And the light gets closer

Until it is all i can see

Is this really what it feels like

To be gone

And know you can never go back

Is this what it feels like

To be...dead?

About
I write a lot of poetry. Most of it is really serious, and negative. But I'm actually a really happy and fun person:) I write fanfiction whenever I see a movie, or read a book that doesn't explain a l.. more..
