Looking through a windowA Poem by Empty SoulThis is what my life sometimes feels like...I look around, My friends play. They don't notice my presence, They don't know I'm there.
My hand against the window, Cold, sharp, frozen. It is nothing but nothing, My hand against the window.
The laughing cries are muffled, By the thick glass between us. I don't need to hear them, I can tell they're happier without me.
Silent tears tumble, Though no one sees them fall. To them, I am invisible, A something that never belonged. © 2012 Empty SoulAuthor's Note
