My beautiful sister.

You were taken too soon, forever i'll cherish our memories. This poem doesn't really fit in a category, but writing this poem saved my life. It would of been so easy to turn to the rope like my sister

I wish I had of known;

the pain you were in.

I would have been there;

holding your hand.

I miss your beautiful smile;

and your bubbly laugh.

My beautiful sister;

you can rest at last.

It's hard to stay strong;

when your love is gone.

But for you, I'll soldier on.

I pray that you're smiling down,

from a heavenly throne.

Mighty Father,

look after her soul.

She is so special,

a heart of pure gold.

She's my glimmer of hope;

in my darkest times.

She always made me laugh;

when I was going to cry.

We will be together once again,

this I have faith in...

Cause you're my best friend.

so tragic :( i am so sorry for your loss ..the depth of hopelessness is difficult to understand ..most of us will hold enough to see us through those especially difficult times .. i have not experienced this loss personally but i would guess that understanding is especially hard for family and close friends .. your sister was both to you and i do feel at least a part of this loss as i read "My beautiful sister" ...the thread of hope you have is woven throughout .. i appreciate your sharing this very personal write .. and applaud you for it
