My heart is empty,

when i'm not with you.

I hope you know,

that my feelings are true.

My heads a shambles,

when you're not there.

I can't think clear,

that's how much I care.

My deepest desires for,

when It can finally be,

simply You & Me.

it is a tough road parenting our children to adulthood ... getting to that place when parent and adult child share as adults ...mutually respectful ..it is, most certainly, give and take on both sides ... you express some deep psychological/emotional anguish ... almost too much from a parent .. i am left wondering if at the closing you are implying a divorce ...
