TodayA Poem by TeaganMalisA poem. That's really about it.Clear sky, Not a cloudy day, No clouds to make it rain. The sun is bright, The trees are green, This sight mustn't go unseen. The dusty road winds Around the bend, Nowhere in sight Is its' end. Skyscrapers rise Beyond the trees, Reaching up infinitely. Nearly deserted, The park is ours, 'Cause nothing can sour Today. All alone, You look at me, And so begins the melody. The bluebirds sing, High and angelic, They belt it out With voices like magic. Our hands clasp, Entwined together, Symbolizing us forever. You lean in, Your nose almost touching mine, And I wonder, Is this a sign? Sparks fly as we touch, And we both feel the bliss, Of True Love's first kiss. © 2013 TeaganMalisReviews
