please don't goA Poem by Tea Geary
my heart died t
hey day you
said it. those
final words, that
I so dreaded.
"goodbye" is
all you said
as you turned.
when you said
it my heart
yearned, that
simple touch
now just burned.
My eyes grew
weary as the
got teary. that
natural high
now only falls.
I'm on a trip
so long, I feel
like im dying,
not yet wanting
to leave, I try to
hold on, but it
hurts too much,
all I want is that
simple touch.
my heart died
they day you
said it. those
final words, that
I so dreaded.
"goodbye" is
all you said
as you turned.
when you said
it my heart
yearned, that
simple touch
now just burned.
My eyes grew
weary as the
got teary. that
natural high
now only falls.
I'm on a trip
so long, I feel
like im dying,
not yet wanting
to leave, I try to
hold on, but it
hurts too much,
all I want is that
simple touch.
