Eddie is a hypochondriac, panic seizes him with every body ache, especially around the chest. The awareness increases his heart rate. At work, his knee shakes uncontrollably resulting in shortness of breath. Driving home, the radio tells of the dangers of sleep apnea - it plunges him into a whirlwind of sleeplessness. A palpitation makes him sensitive to every beat. Temptation of a check-up badgers him, but he's too afraid to take that step. He surrenders to alcohol, the only way to numb the thoughts. Soon they will subside he tells himself - let tomorrow's woes be tomorrow's - tonight...Eddie drinks.
