My Writing MuseA Poem by Tracie D'Angelo
Deep inside my head
Where only spiders dare to tread Thoughts that are dark and sometimes hallow Where sometimes I go to wallow My muse meanders through the webs Where normal thinking tends to ebb And creative thought beckon and call And echo down the darkened hall I conjure up my seeing eyes Of all I love and all I despise In carefully placed written prose I write down what I see and know Of my world that spins around Of feelings and thoughts that I've found Of hopes and cares and dreams to be I'm thankful for the muse in me
