The People of Dreams

The People of Dreams

A Poem by Tracie D'Angelo
"

Written 18 August 1991

"

Talk gently

Ushers of unfulfilled dreams

Enclose me in your arms

With safe reassurance

All will be well

Dry my falling tears

And lift the hanging hair from my eyes

Talk to me in tones of passion

And summon all the courage,

all the hope,

all the faith

That I have the power

To make life my own

Very matured thoughts….
Beauty of brevity is very visible…..nice work…

I’m not sure at where you’re going with this, but it does make me wonder the many directions I can take this, nice piece.

Another semi-love poem (semi because it seems so... delicate). Good work!
