Which is sadder, a grave with flowers or a grave without flowers?

Which is sadder, a grave with flowers or a grave without flowers?

A Poem by Tayler

As I drive by the field covered with stones and bones
I realize some have flowers and some do not
Did they seem to forget the day their loved one passed
Or is it too hard for them to mourn each year
Is forgetting easier than remembering
But how could they forget those people who meant so much
Six feet underground and they still hope you visit them
They fear you have forgotten them and moved on
Maybe you did move on but you have not forgotten
So when you have moved on make sure they know you did not forget
Visit them at least once and leave a rose at their head

This moved me.
I visit the grave of a loved one often and am saddened that so many are forgotten over time.
It's the same with seniors in homes. :(
