I fell in love with a man

Who compared our relationship to nature

Our fights were thunderstorms that eventually

Ran out of thunder and left us in a fragile state

My tears were seen as rain that had no place to go

And they ran down my cheek like how rain runs down streets

Our romance was like the sweet sun rays

On a mid summer day

Our love came in tsunamis and hurricanes

But I wouldn't change it for any cheesy typical romance

I fell in love with a man who saw love as beautiful as nature
