Don't pick meA Poem by TinaLove can be beautiful and long with the right personIn a field of many flowers you saw me. Red and waving wild like a flame. Come touch my fire. It was my scent that led you to me and drove you mad with desire. Touch my petals So Soft. Taste my nectar so sweet. Be nurtured, never thirst. Let your mind dance in the wind as my leaves tickle your feet. Don't pick me. Let me thrive in my Earth so warm, burrowed like my roots intangled deep. Come Grow Old with me till we must sleep. In our place love and beauty will overflow. On a hill, in a valley under blue skies We'll go. 05/22/10
