More than FriendsA Poem by Taylor
I see this little girl
Sitting all alone I see this little boy Wishing he was home These two are nervous But yet the say not a word They just sit there Waiting for someone The little boy is crying silently The little girl is thinking quietly If only they could see each other Each other will see that little gleam of hope Hope for a friend to hold their hand To guide them through this unusual land As the day comes to a close They gather their things The little boy runs out the door And the little girl just walks and looks at the floor As they walk out onto the street The boy isn't paying attention of what's in front of him The little girl is staring at her feet When all of a sudden she drops her books She realizes what hit her and she instantly starts to cry The little boy just looks at her and says "Why?" The little girl just says "You hit me" And the little boy says, "I'm Sorry" He walks over to her books and picks them up The little girl just looks at him straight up, and says," You are the one that I need, you helped me" The little boy says, "Will you be friends with me please." So they walked away All the way to the park to play and till this day they have been friends They always have each others backs This time though they are in love as a matter of fact © 2010 Taylor |
