VEILA Poem by Tazeen Ahmed
rodden
terrains over and above the still exile, Where
the Queen of doom visions her destiny-pacifies amid wraith. She
strides on sweltering thorns twisted in tumult of genocide. And
hails the fire in frost in the appellation of faith. Behold
the veil of chastisement, reticence and diffidence; Proclaiming
a lust intertwined with shades of dark dust-violet. Thunderous
wild whispers do consume her essence, Beneath
the curtains, two fasciae obscure in one perpetual rivulet. Through
the incandescent glow of her clandestine eyes, She
ferries her fancy through the gates wide and wooden. And
stalks infinity deep into the cerulean crass of deep and skies, Serendipity
soars; identities are lost and hidden. A
blurred entity buried deep in the shales, Akin
to that of a crook’s blurred visage prevails. © 2018 Tazeen AhmedFeatured Review
