WANING REGRETS

WANING REGRETS

A Poem by Tazeen Ahmed
"

regrets of a person when dying...

"

If only I’d n’t toiled

Too hard

If only I’d spent, also spared time

With friends and family

If only I’d lived

The way I wanted to

If only I’d been more contented

And showed gratitude for what I’d got

If only I’d confessed my affection

To parents

We tend to realise the value of a thing when we lose it. This is so true. I liked it.
